The following is the summary of the text

There was a present for Isabel,  Lottie and Kezia. It was a doll’s house. It was very big and beautiful. It had a bad smell, but nobody cared for. They all were happy while looking in it.

It has a complete interior like real house. It had living room, kitchen, bedroom, ect. It also had a beautiful and luxurious lamp. Isabel, Lottie, and Kezia become  very proud. They had a plan to tell about the doll’s house to their friend in school. 

They told about the doll’s house to their friends. They then invited their friends to come and see the doll’s house. They all were invited except Lil and Else Kelvey. Lil and Kelvey were poor and always strange in appearance. The all children were forbidden to talk with Kelvey by their parent.

At last, only the Kelvey who had not see the doll’s house. They actually really wanted to. They often caught when they listening their friends’ story about the doll’s house. They were excited to listen it.

Fortunately, Lil and Else were invited by Kezia. Kezia did it in secret. Lil and Else were very happy. Unfortunately, when they were looking at the doll’s house, Aunt Beryl saw them. She was very angry. Lil and Else went away soon. They seemed sad, but they happy that they finally saw that doll’s house.
